Welcome to the Alpha Phi Chapter of Phi Kappa Tau.

Originally locally founded as Sigma Beta Nu in 1923 at The University of Akron, our chapter was rechartered as Phi Kappa Tau in 1938.

Annually brothers have the opportunity to attend a variety of premier leadership and character development opportunities through the Fraternity’s Men of Character Programs. Chapters participate in philanthropic and service efforts for the SeriousFun Children’s Network and the USO.
